Review of the Potato, Onion and Tomato Curry Recipe

Hi, Ray here again.

Curry time had arrived again. Or rather, time to try out another yummy curry recipe has arrived again.

So what will it be this weekend? I’ve tried meat and fish recipes over the last few weeks. So I eagerly scanned the vegetarian curry recipes to see what I could make. And I spotted the Potato, Onion and Tomato curry recipe which looked very easy to make. And I already had all of the ingredients in the house.

I peeled and parboiled the potatoes, preparing all the other ingredients while the potatoes were boiling.

The actual cooking of the curry would not take too long so I waited for the dinner guests to arrive before starting the main cooking phase.

And the dinner guests arrived on schedule so it wasn’t too long before the curry was being made.

This is a really easy curry recipe to follow.

Pretty soon I was dishing up the Potato, Onion and Tomato Curry to the hungry diners.

And what was the verdict? The main negative one was that this is a lot of carbs to eat (with the potatoes and rice) and maybe it would be better without the rice and served as a side. This made sense to me and I have added the curry into the Vegetarian Curry Side Dishes category as well as leaving it in the Vegetarian Curry recipe category.

The curry spice/heat level was mild and the coriander/cilantro gave it a lovely taste. And overall, the curry received a taste score of 7 out of 10.

As I said before, this would make a great side dish to accompany a yummy curry.
