Hi, Ray here again.
With the fast-approaching Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, both well known for the consumption of copious amounts of turkey, I decided that it was about time that I tested one of the turkey curry recipes on the Curry Focus website. There is a very simple turkey curry recipe that looked very quick to make, as well as being an easy recipe to follow.
I picked up some turkey breast meat from the supermarket and that’s the only shopping that I needed to do for the meal since I already had everything else that I needed.
The whole cooking process takes less than 30 minutes so all I prepared the ingredients and waited for the dinner guests to arrive before starting to cook.
And there were no problems encountered during the cooking – it was a very simple recipe to follow.
So I was serving up the Turkey Curry on basmati rice within 30 minutes of the diners arriving.
And what was the verdict? Pretty average really. The turkey was well-cooked but the meal was pretty basic, with not much of a mixture of tastes and textures (although the onion taste was popular).
Overall, the turkey curry recipe received an average taste score of 7 out of 10 with a spice/heat rating of “Hot”.
So this wasn’t an overwhelming success. If you’ve got a good turkey recipe then why not share your turkey curry recipe with us so we can put it onto the website for everyone to enjoy?
