Hi, Ray here again.
The weekend is here again so it’s time to try out another great Curry Focus recipe.
I really like a Massaman curry and so I eagerly chose to make the Dry Massaman Beef Curry. Unlike most Massaman recipes that I’ve seen, there are no potatoes in the recipe but I’m willing to try all types of recipes in search of a good meal.
I had been given a big sachet of Massaman curry paste by a friend and so I could use this in the recipe. If you can’t get hold of ready-made Massaman paste, you can make one yourself from the Massaman Curry Paste recipe.
This is really an easy recipe to follow,
I did notice that there was a lot of liquid in the curry when it approaching time to serve the curry to the waiting diners so I removed the lid and raised the heat a little to reduce the curry a little.
I served the Dry Massaman Beef Curry to the diners with basmati rice.
And everyone enjoyed the curry. This is a yummy curry with lovely, tender, beef. The top score for the curry was 9.5 out of 10 and it was voted an average of 8 out of 10 for taste, with a heat/spice level of medium.
This is a really yummy curry and is one that I will be making again.
