Review of the Chicken Jalfrazi Recipe

Hi, Ray here again.

One of my favourite curries is a chicken jalfrezi and it is one of the standard curries by which I judge a curry house/restaurant. A good jalfrezi means that I might return but a bad jalfrezi means that I abandon the establishment forever.

The Curry Focus website has a few jalfrezi curry recipes and I’ve previously tested a great Chicken Jalfrezi recipe and produced a Review of the Chicken Jalfrezi recipe.

Another Chicken Jalfrezi recipe appeared on the Curry Focus website a while ago, at last, I have a chance to test the recent arrival.

Like most of the Curry Focus recipes, this recipe was really simple to follow.

I prepared the ingredients and then started to cook. There was nothing complicated about the recipe with the only thing to be careful about being to keep the ingredients moving when the curry became very dry.

And the cooking took less than 30 minutes!!

I served the Chicken Jalfrazi curry on a bed of basmati to the waiting dinner guests.

Everybody loved the meal which had well cooked chicken in a lovely sauce with a good sprinkling of capsicum/peppers for all to enjoy.

The Chicken Jalfrazi got a brilliant rating of 9 out of 10 with a heat/spice rating of “hot”.

This is a truly great curry and has joined the list of great Curry Focus recipes that I can follow knowing that I’ll end up with a delicious meal.

You must try this great recipe if you like a good jalfrezi. In fact, you must try this recipe if you like any chicken curry.
